CNY Storytime at the Playfair - "The Great Race"
Does your child resist learning Chinese? Chinese New Year is a great opportunity to get them interested in the chinese culture, traditions and folklore! Join us as we read "The Great Race", a fun ancient folk story that introduces the animals in the Chinese Zodiac.
We're bringing you the best of song, storytime and hands on playdough fun with the sensory play specialists! Our Mission is to ignite a love for stories, words and reading through hands on fun in learning!
Programme:
- warm-up sensory play table for chinese zodiac animal exploration
- Music and Movement
- Animated Storytime to about the Chinese Zodiac as we read "The Great Race" by Dawn Casey
- Playdough invitation-to-create based on "The Great Race" -- The kids will create their own zodiac animal!
- Date: 3 February 2018, Saturday
- Venue: The Playfair 2nd Edition #02-721 (East Atrium Suntec City, Level 2) - Located Near Bove and Polliwogs
- Time: 130-230pm
- Recommended Age: 2-5 years of age
- Maximum number of participants - 10
- All take-home materials are included in the package.
This can be a Parent-accompanied session. If your child is independent enough to be dropped off, it's ok too! Just let us know.
Please note that we would need a minimum of 5 pax to conduct the storytime sessions. A full refund will be given otherwise. So, gather your friends and come along!
